Greening Melton: School & Youth Programs

Greening Melton works with schools, kindergartens and early learning centres to connect students with the natural environment and inspire lifelong environmental stewardship. Through engaging, hands-on activities, students learn about local ecosystems, native plants, wildlife and the importance of protecting biodiversity.

Programs may include:

  • school revegetation projects on a conservation site

  • native garden projects at your school

  • biodiversity workshops,

  • citizen science activities,

  • environmental tours & excursions and

  • opportunities to participate in community conservation initiatives.

We work alongside educators to deliver meaningful experiences that complement classroom learning while encouraging students to care for the environment in their own communities.

By helping young people understand and value the unique landscapes of Melton, Greening Melton is supporting the next generation of environmental custodians.
