Greening Melton is We Love Aintree's environmental stewardship program, working with the community to protect and restore the natural environment across the City of Melton. Through revegetation, biodiversity conservation, environmental education and community participation, we aim to create healthier ecosystems while inspiring people to connect with and care for the places where they live.

Greening Melton brings together residents, schools, community groups, businesses and government agencies to restore native habitats, improve biodiversity and build a community that values and cares for nature. Whether planting indigenous species, collecting seed, learning about local wildlife or participating in citizen science, everyone has a role to play in creating a greener and more resilient Melton.

Our environmental initiatives include:
