Grow Food:
Community Gardens
Community gardens are at the heart of Grow Food: Melton, providing welcoming spaces where people can grow fresh produce, develop practical gardening skills, meet like-minded people and participate in workshops and community activities.
We currently support food growing at:
Aintree Community Garden – 1 Timbertop Parade, Aintree (learn more here)
Kurunjang Community Garden – 33 Mowbray Crescent, Kurunjang (learn more here)
You can also get involved at:
Djerriwarrh Community Garden – 239 Station Road, Melton
Melton South Community Garden – 41 Exford Road, Melton South
Edmund Rice Community Services – 21–179 Greigs Road, Truganina
Stevenson House Community Garden – 10 Stevenson Crescent, Caroline Springs
Sundowner Community Garden – Sundowner Caravan Park, 2057–2083 Western Freeway, Rockbank
Taylors Hill Men’s Shed or Melton Men’s Shed
As Grow Food continues to expand, we are working with local councils, schools, community organisations and volunteers to establish new opportunities for people to connect through food, gardening and environmental sustainability across the municipality.
