Come down to parkrun, as per usual, but join in some Plogging (Picking up Litter while Jogging) or Plwalking (Picking up Litter while Walking).

You don’t need to carry it the whole 5km, drop it in a bin along the way. And if you’re aiming to run a 5k PB, you don’t have to join in — or pick up after you’ve finished.

Come and join us in cleaning up Deanside Wetlands in Aintree, for We Love Aintree's 8th Annual Community Clean Up for Clean Up Australia Day.

Then, join us for a picnic in Featherwood Park after the Clean Up with food and drinks provided by We Love Aintree, Melton Trash Patrol, and Aintree Scouts

Come and help us plant a wildflower meadow at Rockbank Inn. We have a massive 3,000 plants connecting the Rocky Knoll at Aintree Reserve to the Rockbank Inn as a pollinator corridor. All plants, stakes, guards, and tools will be provided. There will be a Circular Economy Village including a BBQ and coffee cart onsite for refreshments - $2.50 per coffee or sausage where every purchase buy 1x plant for a future planting day (BYO cup and we will TRIPLE your impact). Kids and families are welcome!
